The Troy Family Fall Fest takes place Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jeanne M. Stine Community Park, 241 Town Center Drive, and it is a free, all-ages way to ease into the season. The event brings together a trick-or-treat trail, bounce houses, pumpkin picking, and cider and donuts, and costumes are welcome.

Troy Recreation hosts the event and lists it on the city's official recreation calendar. It is one of several free family programs the city runs in the fall, and its late-morning window makes it an easy stop before the rest of a Saturday.

For families weighing Troy as a place to live, the free, low-pressure format is a good example of the city's recreation programming. It also pairs well with the rest of the fall calendar, including the Frightful 5K and Pumpkin 1K at the Troy Community Center on Sunday, October 25, for families who want another reason to get out that month.

What's the best that could happen?
