The Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival returns to the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. This annual event is one of the most popular fall activities in Rochester Hills and draws families from across Oakland County.

Daytime activities include pumpkin carving (pumpkin included with admission), pumpkin bowling, live entertainment, crafts, hayrides, face painting, and a fire truck display. The evening features a pumpkin lighting from 7 to 9 p.m., when all the carved pumpkins are illuminated across the museum grounds. The effect is striking and worth staying for, especially for younger children who enjoy seeing their work light up.

The museum is located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road, on the historic Van Hoosen Farm property. The grounds include the farmhouse museum, barns, and open space that accommodates the festival activities. The event is held rain or shine.

Rochester Hills families should also note the Van Hoosen Farm Cornhole Classic and Cookout happening Saturday, September 26, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the same location. That event features a cornhole tournament with cash prizes, live music, food trucks, and a basket raffle.
